Author Notes : A geometric obstacle style arena set on StoneHenge. The ground beyond the fighting ring is marsh, which cues a splash sound when entering or exiting. I'll wait for Q2-Arena before the next update on this map.
Credits : I referenced the stone positions from a map I found on the 3DS2MAP page, which in turn was probably converted from a .3ds file.

Author Notes : Inspired by that really cool part in Tron where he is playing that sort of handball game, standing on those rings that disappear when the ball hits them. I really love the observer area in this map. It's a very different approach.

Author Notes : The first arena map I did. I used 3ds2Map to make that big nasty crater in the center. It's kind of hard to get out of if you're not moving fast enough. Nice architecture. A very vertical and tight map.

Author Notes : The Emerald Palace is where the wealthy and luxurious go to duke it out. While waiting in line to frag (or be fragged), one can enjoy the pleasures of the Emerald Palace. Eating tables, billiards room, and even a pool. Observers also get a good, unobstructed view of the action. For those in the arena itself, there are 2 levels, and the only access to the 2nd level is via air tunnels located on opposite ends of the 1st level... ENJOY!
Credits : none, other than the standard ones : iD for Quake, the RA guys for... well, umm... RA ;), and Armin Rigo for QuArK. I also used a texture WAD for a couple textures on the map, this texture WAD was done by Dann Thombs.

Author Notes : An arena inspired by one of Worldcraft's tutorial exercises. In addition to the main floor, the map features two levels, each reachable by a "water column." The map has been vis'd for transparent water, which will provide a slight benefit to users running GLQuake or GLQuakeWorld.
Credits : The map was created with Worldcraft 1.5a--a tool that made my job a lot easier.

Author Notes : A pretty basic factory setting, overhead walkways are nice for fancy-ass jumping shots. Quick moving around the boxes can make protection, but when rockets cream the boxes, the blast can get you too.

Author Notes : .... I got the inspiration for this map of Mad Max III the Thunderdome! It suits the Rocket Arena-theme (which this map is for) just perfect. Two Men Enter, One Man Leaves!!! That is what it's all about. Now, the Thunderdome in MM 3 is pretty much a cage, so i decided to do the same. The architectural specialties of cages cause the map to take VERY long to vis. On my p200MMX it still wasn't done after 12hours! This left me two options: Either not to be able to use my computer for maybe days or declare this map as a GlQuake-Only map. I chose the latter. Regular Quake-players, dont bother dl'ing this map, for you it is virtually unplayable due to all the greying out of textures. In GlQuake it runs just fine!!!
